Coach Of Rapid Bucharest Football Club Resigns

The coach of Romanian football team Rapid Bucharest, Marian Rada, told MEDIAFAX he resigned his position because he failed to reach the team’s objectives for this season.

"I quit because, right now, I can say I failed to reach the objectives to win the first league and the Romanian Cup. I think maybe the team needs a shock so I decided to quit. I don’t know who they will appoint in my place, I want Rapid to do well from now on. My decision is final. If they offer me a job at the club I will stay with the under-18 team, but maybe there is no need for Marian Rada with Rapid,” Rada said.
