They said Vadim might make an official statement Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
PRM Deputy Ioan Aurel Rus, head of the Bistrita-Nasaud branch of the party, confirmed for MEDIAFAX that his branch, as well as other branches, sent letters to Vadim and asked him to reconsider.
Vadim said on Sunday evening he would resign from parliament, citing irregularities during the EP elections.
