Romanian Authorities Seize 150 Kg Of Cocaine

Romanian authorities on Thursday seized around 150 kg of cocaine from a warehouse in Sapanta, Maramures county, close to the Ukrainian border, police officials told MEDIAFAX.

The drugs entered Romania through the port of Constanta, hidden in a wood shipment from Bolivia, bound for a company in Maramures. Police tracked the transport from the port to its destination.

Once shipment reached a Sapanta warehouse, authorities conducted a search and seized the drugs.

Investigators detained four people, including a Spanish citizen.
