Rompetrol Cuts RON0.12/Liter Off Diesel Prices, Raises Gas Price By RON0.09/Liter

Rompetrol Downstream, the fuel distribution unit of oil group Rompetrol, Tuesday increased pump prices for gasoline by 0.9 lei (EUR0.22) per liter and decreased diesel pump prices by RON0.12 per liter.

Thus, Efix 95 gasoline now costs RON5.42 per liter, while Alto 101 gasoline now costs RON6.09 per liter.

Efix diesel costs RON5.26 per liter and Alto 55 diesel costs RON5.57 per liter.

Prices in various Rompetrol gas stations may vary by up to 5% compared to the reference values.

The Rompetrol group is entirely controlled by Kazakh state-owned KazMunayGas.

Romania's top players on the fuel distribution segment are OMV Petrom (SNP.RO), Rompetrol, Lukoil and MOL.
